  • The call for this award will be opened on the ICLP website a few months before the relevant edition.
  • Anybody can nominate but self-nomination is not acceptable.
  • Previous recipients (Golde and Berger together) are asked to express a positive vote for up to two candidates for the Golde and up to two candidates for the Berger award.
  • At least five positive votes are needed for the award to be granted.
  • If the target of five responses of the previously awarded members will not be reached, Scientific Committee (SC) members will vote in addition.

Scientific Committee award:

  • At each ICLP edition up to four SC awards will be given
  • The nomination will be by SC members. Only one nomination is allowed by each SC member. Self-nomination is not acceptable.
  • SC members are also voting (they cannot vote for themselves) and can express up to four preferences.
  • A nominee will need, at least, a positive vote of 50% of the number of SC members in order to be awarded.
  • In case of more than 4 nominees and none of them reaches 50% of the votes, a second round of voting is applied to the 4 most voted nominees.
  • In case of a tie result, SC members who got already an award will be weighted two times.
  • In case the tie still exists, the executive board will consult the SC and make the final decision.
